Biomere gives back to the greater community through an array of philanthropic efforts. Below are a few organizations we are proud to support:
Biomere supports the Signature Chefs Auction for March of Dimes, a non-profit working towards healthy mothers and strong babies. The 2019 event was historic, coming in as the highest grossing March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction in New England history.
In 2017, America suffered 22 thousand baby fatalities in 1st year of life & 700 mother fatalities as the result of complications in childbirth. Biomere is committed to advancing March of Dimes’s mission.
Biomere proudly supports 2020 Battle of the Biotech Bands.
Where else can you see scientists + charity + rock bands together on one stage? A networking event truly unlike any other – an evening not to miss that our industry looks forward to every year.
50% of the proceeds are donated to the winning band’s charity.
FRAXA Biotech Games™ brings together the Boston biotech community to network in a friendly setting, form new relationships and potential collaborations while raising money for a great cause!
Proceeds of the event support FRAXA Research Foundation, which funds Fragile X research in Boston, including Harvard, MIT, Tufts, MGH, and Boston Children’s Hospital. FRAXA’s mission is to find effective treatments and ultimately a cure for Fragile X, the most common inherited cause of autism and learning disabilities worldwide.
In addition, four Biomere employees were in a friendly competition with other Biotech companies in bucketball, cornhole, kanjam, and horseshoes. We learned more about the foundation and were able to network and meet people in the Boston Biotech community.
